Holmes Tops Harrison County To Win District

  Three Bulldogs rushed for 75 yards or more as Holmes shut down Harrison County, 23-7 in a battle for the Class 4A district title on Friday.

 Both teams entered Friday with a 3-0 district record, and the Bulldogs have home-field advantage for at least the first two rounds of the postseason.

 Holmes will play East Jessamine next weekend.

 Sophomore Greg Clemons led the Bulldogs in rushing with 91 yards and two of the team’s touchdowns on 13 carries.

 Junior Damian Oden had 22 carries for 84 yards and Holmes’ first score.

 Junior quarterback Jesse Jensen finished with 24 rushes for 77 yards as the Bulldogs help Harrison County to 76 yards of total offense.
