Sophomore Travis Elliott had 10 carries for 147 yards and two touchdowns as Ryle blew out Boone County, 48-7 on Friday.

Junior quarterback Conner Hempel finished 10-for-15 for 139 yards and two TDs for the Raiders, who locked up a No. 2 seed and home-field advantage for the first round of the playoffs.

As exceptional as the Ryle offense has been this season, neither of the Raiders’ first two touchdowns were scored with that unit on the field. Junior Tanner Teepen gave Ryle the lead when he scored on a blocked punt, and junior Luke Boggs returned an interception 59 yards for a score to make it 14-0.

Boone County, which allowed over 40 points for the fourth time this season and has not won consecutive games, finishes district play fourth, clinching a postseason berth.
