VILLA HILLS, Ky. – Eight Villa Madonna Alumni and one former Villa coach will be honored at the school’s inaugural induction ceremony for the Villa Madonna Academy Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday.
Members of the public are invited to the event, which will take place at 7 p.m. in the school theatre.
Inductees are:
- Becky Ruehl Amann, class of 1995, state diving champion and 1996 Olympic diver
- Carla Austin, class of 1972, state swimming champion
- Lori Erpenbeck, class of 1981, state volleyball championship team
- Kim Gunning, class of 1978, state championship swim team and state all-tournament volleyball team
- Melisa Schreiber Harkrader, class of 1985, state swimming champion
- Jane Scheper Meier, class of 1969, state championship swim team and recently retired athletic director at Northern Kentucky University
- Kelly Reutman Roberts, class of 1995, all-time leading scorer and rebounder for Villa girls basketball
- Lisa Scheper, class of 1976, state championship swim team
- Dennis van Houten (in memoriam), Villa boys golf coach from 1991 through 2008
