28 Barrett Drive
The Thomas Home

This cottage-style home was built by the Thomas family in 1939.  Claude Walden Johnson Sr., the homeowner’s maternal grandfather, created and developed the Barrett subdivision and this house is one of the originals.  It was commissioned by CC Weber for his daughter, Louise (Pat) Johnson Thomas.  The current homeowners have lovingly restored and renovated much of the space.  A unique Thai-style “Spirit House” that serves as a quiet meditation retreat was added earlier this year.
