FALMOUTH, Ky. -- One person has died after a school bus accident in Pendleton County Thursday afternoon.
Police say a car collided with a school bus on KY 159 near the entrance to Kincaid Lake State Park, just north of Falmouth.
There were no children on the bus at the time of the crash, according to police.
The driver of the car, 87-year-old Floyd Wenzel, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff's office says Wenzel apparently went off one side of the road, over-corrected and hit the school bus on the other side of the road.
The condition of the school bus driver is unknown.
The accident remains under investigation.
