3 Tryout Players Signed By Bengals

Three players, including one Taft High School graduate, who showed off their skills in the Bengal's rookie mini camp this weekend will be joining the team.

The Bengals signed the three players as free agents.

Joining the team are:
  • Darius Hill, a Tight End who played for Ball State. Hill, from Blue Springs, Mo., is 6'7'' tall and weighs 247 pounds.
  • James Smith, a long snapper from Florida. Smith, from Gainesville, Florida, is 6'1'' tall and weighs 244 pounds.
  • Pernell Phillips, a defensive tackle, who played for Central State. Phillips is a Taft High School graduate, is 6' tall, and weighs 311 pounds.
