Amelia Cancels Christmas Parade

A cascade of problems means there will be no Christmas parade this year in the Clermont County Village of Amelia.
It started with not enough volunteers, which caused the Amelia Business Association to drop its sponsorship.
The village council wanted to take over, but couldn't unless it renamed it a holiday parade.
That sparked protests.
Add to that problems finding a starting place and an end point, and you get the demise of a 30-year tradition.
