Anderson Twp. Discussing Limestone Mine

ANDERSON TWP., Ohio -- Anderson Township's Board of Zoning is holding a meeting to discuss a controversial mine proposal Monday night.

Martin Marietta Materials wants to open up an underground limestone mine.

The proposed site in the Newtown area would mean daily blasting and some residents aren't thrilled.

Both sides of the issue will be discussed in the meeting held at 5:30 p.m. at the Anderson Center on Five Mile Road.
