NORWOOD, Ohio -- A Blue Ash woman allegedly pulled a bit of Houdini act last night during her arrest in Norwood that eventually resulted in police using a taser on her.
Norwood police arrested Shannon McCarthy, 36, after spotting her walking into oncoming traffic at Montgomery Road and Cleaney Avenue. She was allegedly drunk and didn't cooperate with police.
After she placed into custody, she was able to maneuver out of her handcuffs three times.
She was released from the Hamilton County Justice Center early Friday morning due to overcrowding. She is expected to be in court Friday afternoon.
