Benefit Planned For Injured Police Officer, Family

Last Update: 5/14 4:54 pm
It's been several weeks since Lockland police officer Brandon Gehring was seriously injured during a police chase.

Officer Gehring was putting out stop sticks on I-75 when he was struck by another officer on April 20.  He's been hospitalized ever since.

With hospital bills mounting, a benefit is planned for Friday in Reading.

The benefit will take place from 3 p.m. until 2 a.m. at Annastascias Family Recipes, 12 E. Columbia Ave.

There will be music, food, games, and split the pot raffles.

All the proceeds will go to Officer Gehring and his family.

People can also make a donation for Officer Gehring at any Fifth Third Bank.
