The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to a contract with a familiar player.
Orien Harris, the player the Bengals traded to St. Louis in exchange for Brian Leonard, signed with Cincinnati on Tuesday.
The Bengals traded him to the Rams on May 7. On July 22, he was traded to the Detroit Lions and made their 53-man roster before he was waived on September 16.
Harris is a second-year player. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft.
Harris appeared in 16 games for the Bengals last season and will take the roster spot of Antwan Odom who was placed on the reserve/injured list Monday after injuring his Achilles tendon. He will add depth to a defensive line that also lost Domata Peko during Sunday's loss to the Houston Texans. The team has not released an update on Peko.
The Bengals host the Chicago Bears this Sunday at 4:15 p.m.
