CINCINNATI, Ohio -- With a little help from
Busken, one Bengals fan is paying tribute to Vikki Zimmer, the late wife of Defensive Coordinator, Mike Zimmer.
Vikki Zimmer, who recently passed away, was known for baking her own confections for the team.
Ron Lawson decided to honor Vikki by delivering 30 dozen specially made Busken heart shaped orange and black striped cookies to the Bengals after practice Friday.
There may be plans for Busken sell the cookies in stores with proceeds going to the
Marvin Lewis Community Fund in Vikki's honor.
Mike was on the sidelines for the Bengals on Sunday as they pulled out a thrilling and emotional victory at Baltimore. He was joined by two of his children and his father. The team gave him the option to coach or spend time with his family. He chose to be on the sidelines because he said that's what Vikki would have wanted.
After defeating the Ravens, the Bengals gave Mike Zimmer the game ball. He told the team his wife was proud of them.
