Black rings in the sky prompted several calls into the Channel 9 newsroom Saturday night.
Police from Dearborn and Franklin counties in Indiana tell 9News people were pulling over on I-74 to look at the phenomenon.
Debbie and Kenneth Watkins, of St. Leon, took photos of the black rings from their back deck and sent them in to 9News.
The Watkins say the rings appeared in the sky around 9:30-9:45 p.m.
Christina Dieselberg, of Sunman, Ind. also sent in pictures she took while at her niece's graduation party.
Franklin County police tell 9News they investigated and say it was caused by a fireworks show, although they could not say who the sponsors were.
