It was Monday night football in Ludlow. That's right high school football on a Monday night. The game between Bishop Brossart and Ludlow originally scheduled for this past Friday night had to be postponed due to continuing illnesses at Brossart.
It was a close one in the first half. A fake punt by Brossart kept a first quarter drive alive that eventually led to the Mustangs first touchdown. The Mustangs moved the ball really well and grabbed a 14-0 lead by the start of the second quarter. The Panthers cut the lead to 14-7 in the second quarter before tying it on a 94 yard touchdown run by quarter back Zach Stegemoller.
The second half a completely different story. Ludlow came out and laid it on Brossart winning this one 35-14. Both teams now have records of 3 and 2.
