Butler Co. EMA Director To Stay, Get Raise

Last Update: 12/10/2008 10:11 pm

It's a heck of a way to get a raise.

On Monday two county commissioners and some police chiefs wrote a letter saying they were disappointed with the Butler County's emergency management director, based on his performance after the September windstorm.

But, the EMA director, William Turner, is getting one after all.

Last night the board that oversees the agency gave him a vote of confidence -- and a $2,000 raise.
