CVG Security Re-Screens Passengers As A Precaution

Last Update: 12/31/2009 1:04 pm
HEBRON, Ky. -- Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport officials say they had to re-screen every passenger on flights out of Terminal 2 after a slight breach of security Thursday morning.

Officials say a passenger left the screening area with their bag during a routine check before their screening was complete.

CVG officials then ordered a complete re-screening of everyone in the terminal as a precaution and to be sure that they screened the passenger who left early.

Officials say it could have just been a mistake, but that they wanted to be sure that all passengers were accounted for a second time.

No problems were found and no word on whether flight schedules were altered because of the re-screening.
