The driver of a Mitsubishi Lancer may have been going too fast when the car crashed into the back of a parked semi.
It happened behind the Old Navy store in the 7700 block of Mall Road in Florence Wednesday night.
Both occupants of the car were taken by ambulance to a hospital nearby.
Their names and conditions have not been released.
No one else was hurt.
