AVONDALE -- Several clinics that used to be at Children's Hospital's main building now have a new home.
The hospital dedicated a state-of-the-art pediatric facility on Friday. It's located at 3430 Burnet Avenue.
The facility has clinics that deal with autism, speech pathology, Down syndrome, development and behavioral pediatrics, occupational and physical therapy, and audiology.
The new building also includes a rock wall, zipline, swings, playgrounds, and a bike path for the young patients.
The architects used ideas from patients and their families to come up with the design. The building also features artwork created by patient artists as well as from the community.
