The death toll from last weekend’s Lebanon Racetrack barn fire continues to climb.
Two men and now 45 horses are reported to have died as a result of the fire..
According to more than 20 years worth of Lebanon city fire inspections, there are alleged violations of frayed wires, blocked exits and mattresses in barns.
A hand written report not dated reads, "No sleeping is allowed in barns. A couch/bed for a break is allowed. Each tack room utilized for overnight sleeping must be stopped. Not allowed by fire/zoning."
