Double Murder Under Investigation In Adams Co.

Last Update: 1/05/2009 7:22 am

Family members of 44 year-old Samuel Freeland, also known as "Bo," were still in shock Sunday night after he and his girlfriend, 28 year-old Regina King were found dead Saturday afternoon in Bo's home a few miles east of West Union in Adam's County.

Police say Bo and King were shot and killed and both deaths appear to be drug related.

Bo's family admits he was involved with dealing drugs, but says he was a good person.

"It's just unbelievable.  It just seems like a nightmare and I'm ready to wake up anytime," said Angie Freeland, Bo's sister.

Bo's father Samuel says Bo was a hard worker that took care of his family.  "He loved his grand kids and his kids."

Family members say King was also a good person who didn't deserve to die this way.

"Gina was, she was good.  She was very good to my mom and dad.  Always there for them when they needed her," Angie said.

Police say they're continuing to investigate.

"There's no suspects at this time.  We're interviewing all acquaintances of the victims," said Sgt. Richard Phillips from the Adams County Sheriff's Office.

"I just miss him.  I miss him a lot.  He was a good person.  He will be very much missed," Angie said.

Police have no suspects and they're asking for your help.

If you have any information, you're asked to call the Adams County Sheriff's Office at 937-544-2314.
