A show of kindness by some first graders in Butler County resulted in a unforgettable break from the books.
The students at Mother Teresa Catholic Elementary School in Liberty Township sent thank you notes to Duke Energy workers for their hard work after last September's windstorm damage.
This Friday a few of the workers expressed their gratitude during a visit.
The teacher says it all started with a discussion about the windstorm's affect on the community.
The visit included a close look at a Duke Energy truck and equipment as the workers explained their jobs.
