WARSAW, Ky. -- It's only been a day since Esta Mae Wallace lost her daughter, grandson and husband to a car accident in Verona, but Wallace says her life is unbearable.
"It's been a great tragedy, to have lost all of my family at once," said Wallace. "One is bad enough, but three at a time, it's really hard to take."
Tuesday, her daughter Tamara Robers was driving on U.S. 42 in Verona, Ky. when she lost control of her 2002 Ford F-150 pickup and slid sideways into the path of a Fed-Ex delivery van.
Esta Mae's 11-year-old grandson Dillon Robers and her husband Dallas Wallace died instantly.
Tamera died while being transported to the hospital. She was a cafeteria worker at Gallatin County Middle School.
Her son, Dillon was a student there.
She was a wonderful worker and a great role model, not only for her son but for others around her. We will miss her," says Dot Perkins, Gallatin County Superintendent.
Local ministers and grief counselors were at the school Wednesday to help students cope with the tragedy.
The family is still finalizing funeral arrangements.
