UNION, Ky. -- A home in Boone County is completely destroyed after a fire Sunday afternoon.
Crews were called to the house in the 1100 block of Misty Wood Court around 12:30 p.m.
Fire officials say they saw heavy fire coming from the house when they arrived, and they immediately called for additional help.
Crews from seven different areas worked to put out the flames.
Officials say the house is a total loss.
