DAYTON, Ky. -- The former Dayton, Ky., high school teacher acquitted of having sex with a student celebrated her legal victory on National TV Tuesday night.

Nicole Howell, 26, appeared on "The O'Reilly Factor" on Fox News alongside her attorney Eric Deters.

Howell was said words can't describe how painful the ordeal was for her, and that her life has been ruined. But thanks to her family and friends, she survived the tumultuous time.

"I never once had anyone turn their back on me," Howell revealed. "From day one, my family stuck by me. My friends said, ‘We believe you, we know you would never do this,’ and not once did they ever falter. And I think that's the only reason I did get through such a tragedy."

When asked how she's going to move on with her life, Howell told O'Reilly though she has considered getting her master's degree, she is happy with her current banking job.

This was Howell and Deters’ second appearance on the show. Their first apprearance was on Aug. 3, before the trial began.
