Free Program For Families Hit Hard By Recession

There's a free program that will be held later this month to help local families hit hard by the recession.

Catholic Charities SouthWestern Ohio is offering the program called “When Life Throws A Curve Ball: Learning to Live on Less,” on May 22 at Corpus Christi Church on Springdale Road, north of Mt. Healthy.

The program is designed to help people handle stress and life challenges brought on by unemployment and the recession.

Topics covered include coping skills, savings strategies, resources and meal planning.
Reservations are required and the deadline to sign up for the event is next Friday, May 15th.
