GEORGETOWN, Oh. -- The Georgetown Ohio Highway Patrol post is down three troopers. All three troopers were fired.
The first dismissal happened in August when Trooper Lia Black was fired for unprofessional behavior after a traffic stop. An investigation report indicates that she had given a citation saying she had used radar to determine a driver's speed and later admitted that she had not.
Another incident in September involved troopers Lonnie Butler and Joshua Baker at the Cheeseburger in Paradise in Union Township.
An internal investigation says the two men made lewd comments to a waitress and one of them damaged the bar with a knife. When confronted later by Union Township police, the report says both men were belligerent leading to their arrests. But, the charges against them were later dropped.
The Ohio Highway Patrol isn't commenting because all the firings are in arbitration with the Ohio State Trooper Association.
