CINCINNATI, Ohio -- As the Bengals players arrived at Paul Brown Stadium Sunday night, it was obvious fans waiting outside the gates were over-joyed about the victory over the Steelers.
But it's more than just Bengals fans on cloud nine. If you've been anywhere near Nippert Stadium during a Bearcats game, you know even at the collegiate level, the feeling in the stands is something that's never been rivaled in Cincinnati.
With a win on Friday, the UC Bearcats remained undefeated with a 10-0 record for the first time in school history.
"They're playing Cincinnati football right now. And don't forget about UC either baby! Because it's in town, football fever baby," said Bengals fan, Josh Hughbanks.
The Bearcats, who are still ranked number 5 in the BCS, have a bye this week before they host Illinois the day after Thanksgiving.
The Bengals travel to Oakland this week for the first of three straight games in which they will be favored. Cleveland and Detroit are the other two games in that stretch.
