A group of doctors from the
Greater Cincinnati Associated Physicians has filed suit against the
Health Alliance.
The suit, filed by a group of 28 doctors, alleges that the Health Alliance has not paid some of the bills and has not lived up to the terms promised in the $15 million sale, two years ago.
According to the suit, the Health Alliance has affected the ability for the physicians to provide proper care for their patients.
The Health Alliance includes University, Fort Hamilton and Jewish hospitals, along with the Drake Center and the West Chester Medical Center, which opened last month.
The past few years has seen Christ Hospital and both St. Luke hospitals in Northern Kentucky leave the group.
