Hamilton County Solid Waste Management officials held a briefing Wednesday at the Rumpke yard waste drop-off site on Struble Road to inform residents on how to handle the excess yard waste.
The district is offering a free yard waste recycling program to Hamilton County residents. The program runs on Saturdays and Sundays through November 30, 2008.
There are three locations to drop off yard waste.
East:
Turpin Farm
3295 Turpin Ln.West:
Kuliga Park
6717 Bridgetown Rd.North:
Rumpke Sanitary Landfill
Struble Rd. and Colerain Ave. The Hamilton County Solid Waste Management District is reminding residents that only yard waste will be accepted at their free yard waste drop-off sites.
Garbage and food waste should be put out with other waste for regular trash pickup.
