Health insurer Aetna has announced plans to layoff nearly 2% of its staff.
The company says it will cut 625 jobs, and will make similar cuts in the first quarter of next year.
The Hartford, Connecticut-based insurer blames the lagging economy and potential impact of health care reform for the cuts.
Aetna says it will not leave any of its markets, which includes Cincinnati, but will consolidate field offices to reduce real estate costs.
