WEST CHESTER, Ohio -- The Department of Homeland Security will hold a training exercise Tuesday for emergency workers in Butler County.
First responders will be taught how to use the county's decontamination trailer at the West Chester Medical Center.
The vehicle can decontaminate up to 300 people an hour in the event of an accident involving hazardous materials or a possible terrorist attack.
Butler County Emergency Management Director Jeff Galloway says the county received a federal homeland security grant to take part in the training exercise.
Some attendees include firefighters and hazardous material crews from Middletown, Hamilton and West Chester.
