As flu and cold season gets underway, several local schools have been forced to close their doors due to illness.
The superintendent of Sunman Dearborn Intermediate School in West Harrison, Indiana says the health department has asked them to close for seven days.
The decision was made because a number of students have flu-like symptoms.
Adams County and the Ohio Valley School district have also shut down for the next two days because of a variety of illnesses.
