FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) -- A man has been released from the hospital after being stabbed twice at a central Kentucky Walmart.
Frankfort Police Maj. Fred Deaton told The State Journal that a fight began between two men in the store's restroom Thursday night and spilled into the checkout area.
Deaton said 49-year-old Donald W. Roberts was stabbed in the stomach and behind the left ear by 24-year-old Tommy Sparks, who was charged with domestic assault.
Deaton said the men appeared to have a "family relationship" and that "for whatever reason, there was a physical altercation between the two."
Roberts was taken to a hospital and discharged Friday.
