Lebanon Work Crews Cut Cable To 911 Dispatch

WARREN CO., Ohio -- Work crews in the City of Lebanon accidentally cut through a critical cable carrying fiber, copper, and phone cables that affect 911 calls to emergency personnel.

Repair crews from Embarq restored the connection at 3:30 p.m.

People who called 911 from Cincinnati Bell phone lines in Warren County may have experienced no audio.

Callers were asked to try using a cell phone or call the non-emergency line to Warren County Dispatch at (513) 925-2525.

The outage affected the 911 centers for the City of Lebanon, the City of Franklin, and Warren County.
