ELSMERE, Ky. - Crews are investigating after an intense early morning fire likely claimed the life of an Elsmere resident.
The fire broke out around 4 Thursday morning in a single trailer in the Allendale Mobile Home Park on
Eagle Drive. It took crews about half an hour to extinguish the majority of the flames that engulfed the home.
After the fire was out, firefighters discovered the body of 41-year-old Kenneth Croy inside the rear of the trailer.
Officials have not yet determined if Croy died as a result of the fire, or by some other means.
