Man Tries To Stab Girlfriend, Then Stabs Self

FAIRFIELD TWP., Ohio -- A Fairfield Township man is recovering in the hospital and will face charges for allegedly trying to stab his girlfriend on Thursday.
Fairfield Township police say Anthony Howard tried to stab his girlfriend at the couples home on Tylersville Road. She was able to get away, so Howard stabbed himself in the chest five times, according to police.
Howard was transported to the Atrium Medical Center. Police say he will be charged with domestic violence.
