Students at one Tri-State school got a special treat Friday.
Bengals Head Coach Marvin Lewis spoke to students at Purcell Marian High School about the history of sports in America.
Coach Lewis says he always appreciates the opportunity to speak to young people about their future.
"As they talk about three major sports in our country I'm just glad to be able to shed some light on some things for them and answers any questions they might have,” said Lewis.
Lewis got a surprise of his own as well.
Students raised $500 for the Marvin Lewis Community Fund.
The organization funds nearly 30 scholarships to send kids to college.
