Butler County emergency crews were called early Wednesday evening after a minivan crashed through a fence and landed in a backyard pool.

Police say the female driver had a medical condition that forced her to lose control as she drove along State Route 747 in Liberty Township. It happened just after 5 p.m.

The minivan went through the backyard fence and partially landed in the pool in the 6200 block of Willow Brook Court.

The vehicle was stopped by the diving board and the edge of the pool.

Medics pulled the driver out of the minivan and took her to the hospital.

Police say no one else was hurt.

The driver's name and condition have not been released.
