No sleeping late today for some College of Mount Saint Joseph students.

Student volunteers were up early to work on this Habitat for Humanity home on Fyffe Avenue in East Westwood Saturday morning.

Construction on the four-bedroom house began about three months ago.

Mount St. Joseph student, Madline Conroy, was working on the house on Saturday morning.  She explains why she volunteers, "Just the service, I love helping people. We're just putting the siding on the houses."

Bud Rullman, the build supervisor, said "We're especially happy with today's weather. Primarily because it's not humid and it's just good working conditions today. Especially today."

The goal is to have the house ready for a family before Christmas.

The build is sponsored by Westfed Coalition of Churches, Travelers, Wells Fargo and Cincinnati Habitat for Humanity Young Professionals.
