NKU Dorm Treated for Bed Bugs

Last Update: 4/18/2009 12:50 am
Northern Kentucky University spent $10,000 to deal with bed bugs in one of the school's dorms.

A school spokesman says six rooms at Callahan Hall were treated last weekend.

A dozen students were also displaced for two days.

While only two rooms had bed bugs, the pest control company advised the university to treat all of the rooms on the floor.

The school says the source of the bed bugs is unknown, but the problem has been taken care of.
