Local health care workers and national guardsmen are lending a helping hand to Gustav victims.
The nurses and clerical staff from the Northern Kentucky Health Department are heading down South to Louisville on Wednesday to offer their assistance.
More than 1500 people are staying at the Fair and Expo Center.
The group will give relief to workers already there and help patients with medical needs.
There will also be more than 60 members of Kentucky's National Guard heading to the area.
