FORT MITCHELL, Ky. -- City officials have shut down a Dixie Highway hotel due to safety hazards.
USA Hotel is located at Interstate 75 and Dixie Highway in Fort Mitchell.
The owner must correct a list of problems before the hotel can re-open for business according to Fort Mitchell Police Chief Steve Hensley.
Officers with the police and fire departments along with the building inspector and representatives with the Northern Kentucky Health Department visited the hotel last week after numerous complaints.
Many of the inspection violations include electrical issues.
