A teenage boy is dead and a teenage girl is critically injured after a one car accident in Butler County Friday morning.
Police say the vehicle carrying two Talawanda High School students crashed in the
4800 block of Somerville Road around 11:15 a.m.
Police say 16-year-old James Thomas, a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, 16-year-old Megan Spice, was flown by a medical helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital with critical injuries.
One of the victims was trapped inside the vehicle for several minutes.
The accident remains under investigation.
