An allegation of rape has been determined to be a false accusation according to investigators in Dearborn County.
Officials say the determination was based on statements from the accused and the victim, as well as other evidence.
On July 15 the Aurora Police Department and the Dearborn County Special Crimes Unit were called in to investigate a possible sexual assault at the Aurora Little League Park just after Midnight.
The alleged victim was treated and released from the Dearborn County Hospital. The person's name is being withheld to protect her privacy.
No arrests were made in the case.
Dearborn County Sheriff's Department and the Lawrenceburg Police Department assisted with the investigation.
The case remains under investigation by the Special Crimes Unit.
