A man allegedly in the country illegally will likely get deported after his arrest following a traffic accident.

Ramiro Velesquez-Mauricio, 29, was arrested Wednesday morning by Cincinnati Police.

Velesquez allegedly caused an accident around 10:30 a.m. in a northbound lane of Colerain Avenue near Cumminsville.

Police say his 1999 Kia Sportage allegedly lost control and spun around into oncoming traffic.

Police say he is in the country illegally and "subject to deportation."

According to police, Velesquez did not have a valid driver's license.  Police say he owns the car, but does not have insurance.

A Guatemalan identification was later found after he was arrested, according to police.

Velesquez is currently being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
