CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati police say an afternoon prostitution sweep in Over-the-Rhine resulted in the arrests of five suspected "Johns".
According to police, undercover officers posed as prostitutes to catch men soliciting sex for money.
During the sweep, police focused their search in the areas of
Henry and Elm streets and State Avenue. As a result, officers arrested at least five men between Noon and 4 p.m. Tuesday.
According to police documents, 53-year-old Louis King of West Chester, 44-year-old Keith Herron of Falmouth, Ky, 39-year-old Travis Lattimore of Cincinnati, 37-year-old Jose Ortiz of West Price Hill and 39-year-old Ibrahima Dia of Columbus, Ohio were all arrested in the bust.
Police allege they offered the undercover officers money for various sex acts.
The men are all facing charges of loitering and solicitation.
