One local group is raising money to help prevent home foreclosures.
Angels on the Run 5K will use proceeds to help a Tri-state family keep their home.
The funds raised will go to Foreclosure Angel.
"The response has been overwhelming," said Shauna Vogt, founder of Angels on the Run. "People are passionate about helping us because they have been affected by this economy too, or they know someone else who's been affected."
Live music and LaRosa's pizza will be served to participants after the race.
