WALTON, Ky. -- A man is recovering after a roof collapsed on top of him in Walton Friday afternoon.
The Boone County Sheriff's Office says the man was working on a new house at the corner of University Drive and Dixie Highway when the accident happened shortly before 2 p.m.
Officials say the man was alert and conscious, but could not feel his legs. A medical helicopter transported him to the hospital. His name and condition have not been released.
