Search Continues For Suspects In Triple Shooting

UNION, Ky. -- Boone County Sheriff’s investigators continue Monday to collect evidence for analysis and interview anyone who might have any information helpful in identifying the person(s) responsible for the shooting deaths of two in Union.

The autopsies conducted on Warren and Madge Moore revealed they both died of gunshot wounds to the head. Madge was shot once and Warren was shot twice.

The caliber and type of weapon are still unknown however investigators did recover a handgun from the Moore household they are sending to the lab for analysis. Michael Moore, son of the deceased, continues to recover at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, from his gunshot wound.

Officials said that their investigation has not narrowed to any one suspect or motive. They said that they will continue to follow every lead, interview anyone who might have information concerning any aspect of the crime, and analyze all evidence.
