Sheriff's Captain Dies From H1N1 Complications

A captain with the Preble County Sheriff's department has died after being diagnosed with H1N1.

Captain Michael Thornsberry fell ill on October 20th with what was believed to be pneumonia. When Thornsberry's condition worsened, he was airlifted to Indiana University Hospital on October 25 where he was diagnosed with both pneumonia and H1N1.

Thornsberry was 38. He leaves behind a wife and two daughters.
